A little about me

Anyone who's reading this now would be wondering who I am. Well to start off with I am Ashan in case you missed the blogging authors name.
In order to describe me in a nutshell, I'm fun, quiet, intruding, different, confused all in one.
But then again this is just in a nutshell and I can't guarantee that this is truly what I am. The whole reason why I started this blog is to have something to do, other than studying watching movies and all the other usual things.
Currently I am an undergraduate student at the tender age of 18 and going through my second year of college, and just in case anyone in high school is reading this I'm telling you now college is NOT fun. Well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, it is fun but not the studying and getting good grades part of it but then again, when is studying ever fun.
I'm living in Sri Lanka, it's a good place to travel to with nice beaches and all but as a place to live?
Well if i had a choice i would chose else where but unfortunately I'm stuck here for another one and a half years or so but till then I'm planning to enjoy life as much as possible.

Back At It

Is It All Worth It? (2)

Continuation from my previous post... After reading the story, it got me thinking if this is what life is all about? The same cycle that everyone routinely follows. The first phase of the cycle is being born, growing up, studying so that you could reach great heights some day. The whole while you are studying for exams, try to beat the other kid who got higher marks than you did last time. The second phase of the cycle is finding a job trying to settle into the slow pace of the thing we call life, we get up in the morning to go to work and then come back home in the evening, almost everyday.
