Bonds Break
I hate to admit it but I'm a bit of a pessimist.
I'm a pessimist when it comes to things which involve real life.
I see all relationships in this world to be a bit superficial and having a expiration date.
They maybe romantic in nature or just friendship but life so far has taught me that there is always a time when everything comes to an end. It maybe today, tomorrow, a week from now or even year from now but there is always a time when everything comes to an end.
There are definitely friends that you come across in life who are friends who are timeless friends.Who you've known for a long time and who you will continue to know for years to come. These are the kind of friends who know you better than you know yourself and there are only a few handful of them in this world.
Then there are friends who are in disguised as friends but are actually your enemies. Who are plotting and scheming you're very downfall.
Then are the type of friends who were meant to be in your life for a short period in time, who are only a chapter in the huge book called life. People who enter your life and for a moment in time make impressions in your life but eventually, they cease to travel any further in your life path. Years later while reminiscing the good old times you might realize how much of an impact that person left in your life and it would leave you wondering what happened.
It's perhaps this last category that makes you realize that things aren;t meant to last forever, that things has to come to an end.
It's like life's way of telling us to enjoy every moment while we can, like it's the very last moment of your life.
Relationships come to an end, there are few which withstands the power of time and there are those which succumbs to time. But never regret that these things happened because it's in moment like these that we sometimes truly value life.
Leaving with quote from a movie (that I don't remember) whose quote struck a note with me;
"Don't be sad that it's over, be glad that it happened"
